As a young artist, I enjoyed creating something from nothing. I spent 8 years in college earning a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management, Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design, and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. Academia started me off with a unique understanding of how to apply principles of science, business and the visual arts in a dynamic process of problem solving.

Since 1993, I've worked in a variety of settings. I was a graphic artist in the design department of an international manufacturer of health care products founded in 1923. Later, I served as creative director and partner in a design consultancy established in 1943. Through managing relationships with clients in numerous industries, I learned how important it is to be a good listener. This is the foundation upon which Barkada was built.
